Reasons Why a flagship Android user won't feel like switching to iPhone 6

It's Apple time of the year and whole world saw how Apple neglecting Steve Jobs' comments on big-screen smartphones launched the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus with 4.7" and 5.5" display. While the war of Android vs iOS will never end owning to fanboys, here are my top reasons "Reasons Why a flagship Android user won't feel like switching to iPhone 6 ( well there can be exceptions )".

1. Display and the resolution stuff

Considering a iOS user since years, this maybe a new thing. However the thing is that Android Flagships typically are confined to at least 5" display, take s5, g3, and M8 as example. iPhones finally made their way to displays more than 720p with 750p for 6 and full HD 1080p for iPhone 6 plus. Think Android way now, 1080p displays were playing in market since 2 years and eventually now making their way to 2k displays. Remember the first gen iPad mini which was launched with non-retina displays and Apple boys had the answer " We didn't notice any difference though" for all questions asked. While some may totally argue with quality principles, look at HTC and Sony displays !

2. Traditional File Transfer method

iTunes is the traditional file transfer method for iDevices excluding Mac at certain levels. Though Bluetooth Sharing method is becoming obsolete now-a-days, but take a case where you want a PDF document from your friend instantly, so all you're confined to in that case is Bluetooth Sharing method which Apple Users seriously can't. And with iPhones you simply can't use your phone as FLASH DRIVE. Though some may argue about security ethics, but come on!

3. Battery Life

Battery life always have been the worst part of iPhone. But this year, many reviews claim to have a better life of iPhones. But seriously look at Android Flagships with their mAH number game which does matter in many aspects. Let's face a situation with equal battery life of iPhone and an Android Flagship, in that situations ultra power saving mode of Galaxy s5 can easily adjust your battery potential with limited amount of features to get access to.

4. Camera and the Specs number game

iPhone 6  still has 8MP camera. Though it may excel in camera on comparison with certain phones but still Nokia Lumia 1020 has 41MP camera and Sony Xperia Z1 has 20MP camera which are bound to excel in many terms with their innovative technology. While the cameras of Z1 and Lumia have better customisation options to adjust the picture as your wish with different modes for selfies and different situations. Now coming to specs number game which is famous in all mobile markets. Comparing specs of iPhone 6 with most of Android Flagships, you'll be disappointed leaving aside performance because iOS performs awesome on average hardware, but still most people get enchanted with specs number game and that's the thing basically to consider in the arena where competition is getting tougher and tougher.

Locket-Bring news to your lock screen

Android being opensource allows one of the most flexible customizability options relative to the other operating systems.

The home screen, through various launchers can be beautified to one's own taste and liking just through a selection of multiple launchers available at the play store.

But there lies a canvas still not accessed by many but on the verge of complete exploration in terms of customisation and information exchange to the user, omitting the access to the home screen. It is the Lock screen.

The Lock screen of a smartphone has nowadays become more of a productivity tools than being a mere old mundane security tool.

To learn more about what changes would make lock screen more useful in next android, click here.

There are many apps being developed and have been developed which can provide the user with some information that they would like to know about but to stand out, there's one called "LOCKET".The app is in BETA phase right now but is worth trying.

Functions :

--->It brings the news from your selected categories right up to your lock screen and the images of the articles constitute the lock screen wallpaper.

--->The article can be made favourite through a simple swipe up gesture and the whole article can be read through a left swipe.

--->The device can be unlock through a right swipe.

Also, each time you wake the device, there's a new article been displayed to bring your attention. The articles can be glanced  over through left swipe from the middle of the right hand side of the phone's display.

--->The in-app interface consists of continuously updating articles from your categories and behaves like any other news reader app with sharing options and like features.

--->To use this app one must create an account on locket which can be through authenticating your Google / Facebook account.

--->The other elements include Home,Like and settings for the app management.

Overall, this app is fantastic for people who need information "ON THE GO".Though sometimes it does not fire up being in the BETA phase, yet it's worth a try.

Please Apple, don't miss this opportunity

apple-event-2014It's the Apple-time of the year where the company is organising a press-event on September 9. We may be able to have a look at the much rumoured Apple "iPhone6" and "iWatch" for the first time in it's official condition. Well last gen iPhone 5s proved to be money-market maker for Apple though it brought some disappointment because of 4" screen size which was introduced with iPhone 5. As per rumours, Apple is set to rock the stage with 4.7" and 5.5" iPhones along with a wearable called "iWatch" as of now.  While the world aims at the Sep 9 press event for iphones with bigger screen, it is the best chance for Apple to typically prove it's supremacy and perfection which it possessed during years of late Mr.Steve Jobs while losing it's momentum totally after invasion of Tim Cook as the as CEO of one of the most reputed and valuable brand of the world.

If we consider market of WEARABLE Tech, it is not yet perfect in terms of devices. Google launched Android wear but it's clients like GWatch, Gear Live, Moto 360 still suffers from some optimisation issues, battery life and malfunctioning accessories and sensors. iWatch in this case can typically prove itself to be successful if Apple pay attention to this small things. Apple is typically known for it's perfection in software and hardware, however the company is also the follower of slow change and typically confined to cultured stuff which requires some change as time progresses. Circumstances have changed and Apple is also progressing. The best example of this is iOS 7 which was the biggest visual change in iOS history since 2007. And now iOS 8 is also getting new features like third party keyboards integration which increases customisation of phone up to certain level. The changes are small but are great for a well polished operating system which has quality and reliability when it comes to mentality of customers.

Times are changing and phones are getting bigger and better specially in Android world and now Windows Phone too. Why some people don't buy an iPhone because they say "Screen is too small, I want a phone with bigger screen ( this was the answer 3/5 gave me )". If rumours go correct, iPhone 6 will be a big hit in the market as well as iWatch if it is paid attention to in certain places. The competition for Apple is really tough because of Samsung and other manufacturers. Samsung recently announced Note 4, and a wearable to expand it's portfolio, Sony announced Smartwatch 3 ditching its own platform and replacing it with Google Android Wear, and finally Asus also announced Zen-Watch at IFA 2014. Apple has a tough competition in terms of wearable and up-to a certain extend in mobiles.

So, let's see what Apple is up-to on September 9. It's 1day 10hours 19minutes and 11seconds left for the event as per Apple.com/live
