Please Apple, don't miss this opportunity

apple-event-2014It's the Apple-time of the year where the company is organising a press-event on September 9. We may be able to have a look at the much rumoured Apple "iPhone6" and "iWatch" for the first time in it's official condition. Well last gen iPhone 5s proved to be money-market maker for Apple though it brought some disappointment because of 4" screen size which was introduced with iPhone 5. As per rumours, Apple is set to rock the stage with 4.7" and 5.5" iPhones along with a wearable called "iWatch" as of now.  While the world aims at the Sep 9 press event for iphones with bigger screen, it is the best chance for Apple to typically prove it's supremacy and perfection which it possessed during years of late Mr.Steve Jobs while losing it's momentum totally after invasion of Tim Cook as the as CEO of one of the most reputed and valuable brand of the world.

If we consider market of WEARABLE Tech, it is not yet perfect in terms of devices. Google launched Android wear but it's clients like GWatch, Gear Live, Moto 360 still suffers from some optimisation issues, battery life and malfunctioning accessories and sensors. iWatch in this case can typically prove itself to be successful if Apple pay attention to this small things. Apple is typically known for it's perfection in software and hardware, however the company is also the follower of slow change and typically confined to cultured stuff which requires some change as time progresses. Circumstances have changed and Apple is also progressing. The best example of this is iOS 7 which was the biggest visual change in iOS history since 2007. And now iOS 8 is also getting new features like third party keyboards integration which increases customisation of phone up to certain level. The changes are small but are great for a well polished operating system which has quality and reliability when it comes to mentality of customers.

Times are changing and phones are getting bigger and better specially in Android world and now Windows Phone too. Why some people don't buy an iPhone because they say "Screen is too small, I want a phone with bigger screen ( this was the answer 3/5 gave me )". If rumours go correct, iPhone 6 will be a big hit in the market as well as iWatch if it is paid attention to in certain places. The competition for Apple is really tough because of Samsung and other manufacturers. Samsung recently announced Note 4, and a wearable to expand it's portfolio, Sony announced Smartwatch 3 ditching its own platform and replacing it with Google Android Wear, and finally Asus also announced Zen-Watch at IFA 2014. Apple has a tough competition in terms of wearable and up-to a certain extend in mobiles.

So, let's see what Apple is up-to on September 9. It's 1day 10hours 19minutes and 11seconds left for the event as per Apple.com/live

Should Samsung Drop Android for Tizen ?

CaptureAs we all know , Samsung is working on it's tizen OS for a while . And frankly there are no Mobile devices running it , but Samsung slowly is releasing this OS with a camera and now with the Samsung Gear devices . With this Samsung is slowly releasing the fact that Tizen will be a major OS in the Samsung devices . Currently its in developing stage . No one can get rid of the fact that the royalty that Samsung has in terms of Mobile services is because success of Galaxy Series  which runs on Android yeah !

And without that nothing could have happened . But with this one question arises ? After the Tizen is fully developed Will Samsung drop Android ? There are two types of answers obviously : Yes or No , and it may differ from people to people . But in my case No , never . Samsung over it's development years has realised the importance of Android , and they can never afford to do that and risk their market share . Every new thing needs new time to mature and so will be Tizen . It will at-least be 3 years more for the apps development which will the major issue .

Tizen apps are coded via C++ and the extension .tpk , while Android apps are coded in Java with the .apk extension , which directly makes impossible to run apks on it . But through the app called APCL , it is possible to run .apk within .tpk . Well that proves that there will be no problem of apps for Tizen guys until the OS is fully developed . Read my article about IS ANDROID THE BASE OF APPS FOR EVERY NEW OR UPCOMING OPERATING SYSTEM'S? here . Samsung want's to be leader in every sector of technology , right ?

Imagine if he a Tizen phone is launched , but it's sales won't be as high as Galaxy series , which is famous specially in India , capturing many areas of market . Android soon will be the leading OS in the world , due it's increasing popularity . There are two situations that Samsung not may , it will face : 1.Whether to drop Android 2. Use it along with Tizen . 2nd situation feels much more logical . Samsung from it's existence is known to take advantage of every thing possible  and it really makes everything Consumer Appealing . Hopes are high from Samsung and there's no melodrama expected from them.

The bright side maybe not to drop Android completely , but use it to it's core until the full maturation of Tizen and to launch the both version of it's flagships running Android and Tizen ,and to allow to run .apks within .tpks

Is Google really thinking Android as open source ?

This is the thought , for what most of the customers and people out there have sympathy for . For every upcoming OS , apps're a necessary thing , otherwise though OS is good , but it becomes boring as we spend time with it . While we know , Android is the most portable OS in the world , which can adjust itself to any environment , its advantages are uncountable . Like What Nokia did with X line  . That  undoubtedly proves that Android is Open - Source . Though this term is questioned sometimes by people  ,  like now Google is asking manufacturers to have Powered By Android branding during phone boot up  and Google removing Cyanogen Mod app from the Google Play Store . Well the answer given by Google wasn't practical at all - " THE APP WAS HELPING PEOPLE VIOLATE THE PLAY STORE POLICIES AND EVEN VIOLATE THEIR WARRANTY "

Also previously there were reports that Samsung may kill Magazine UX  , to promote Google Services as some kind of deal with between two . Also there are reports saying Samsung to completely be with Tizen , killing Android . But that strategy is confusing , because that's huge risk that  Samsung is taking on , as Samsung became famous due to Android , right ? The Cyanogen Mod app removal from Play Store was the first step of doubt , that whether Google is really thinking Android as open source . While third party devs , make the use of it's friendly environment to it's core .

While the Open Source word is truly confirmed by the JOLLA , Blackberry people . Their OS like Sailfish and BB10.2 .1  can run apks and you can side-load them to the device   , which is the same case with Nokia X line-up which is running on Android Open Source Project  .  While there were rumours about Windows Phone 8.1 may have apk support , but that may not be true at all or maybe , let's see .

All the above said facts , conclude that Google is considering Android to be Open Source , but at some points don't !
