How Android is taking over the world !

It wasn't too far , 2008 , the world's first Android phone came out , HTC Dream , though Android 1.0 eclairs was far behind in ethics and functionality  on comparing with today's KitKat and older verions , it was definitely better than Microsoft's Kin series which was a total bullshit and a commercial failure .. iOS was one of the game changer since 2007 , and then came the competitor Android  and ya , some features really made the Android stand apart from earlier versions of iOS that wasn't really named as iOS , but used to come in the first gen iPhone ...HTC DREAM .......Well the notification center was one of the feature that separated Android from iOS and added to it's functionality  , i think touch screen keyboard actually made it's debu with the Android 1.6 Donut , so physicall keyboard came with the that time monster HTC Dream ..... As you can see in the pic it used the button layout for home  , call accept and reject  etc , of which some were removed in the later versions ..

Multitasking was also the new thing , press and hold home button and boom ! You can multitask  , while iPhones could never multitask at that time . Also Android came with the Android Market with which users can download apps . iPhone actually got the App Store one year later after it's launch . Also the switching from portrait to landscape  also was a distinguishing feature of the Android , and actually Android was using a New UI , which as time passed developed and Now we've fully functioning Android that is capturing about 85% World Market ! ...

Google was offering Android to every manufacturer and for Free, and Google had released it's source codes , So any manufacturer was able to modify the stock look and thus we've now custom skins TOUCHWIZ , SENSE,TIMESCAPE etc..

Android phones were and are also cheaper rather iPhones that were costly and many people were and are finding it too expensive to buy .. Also iOS was though perfect , but was conservative in some sharing functionality , and wasn't specs hungry , but lack of sharing , iTunes requirements for syncing , was frustrating stuff, while on the other side Android was totally open source , all you can do is share and even root and install custom roms  on it .... TWO THINGS LED TO ANDROID FREEDOM - FREE AND FREEDOM .

Every Android version is developing fast and is becoming improved version by version . Android also has captured about 80-85% market , which was and is the serious threat to iOS , Windows Phone , BB10 etc , If Nokia would have used Android , it would be leading Manufacturer , but OK Nokia is happy and developing Windows Phone .. Well that's a side story..
