Google Nexus 5 : What's the psychology behind?

+Nexus  , the brand that's treated as VIP among the vast Android ocean of manufacturers , and also VIP in terms of Updates , Pure Google Android experience and  pricing ... And also 18 months of updates guarantee from Google . Well  Nexus 5 is the latest flagship from Google and also the first among the Android devices to have Latest version of Android Kitkat (4.4 )...To our surprise this phone was launched soon after the international launch in India unlike Nexus 4 which took many months to come in India after the international launch , and ya aggressive pricing , made Nexus 5 to go out of stock in Indian Play Store too , Nexus 5 16GB has been priced around 28.9K INR and 32 GB version has been priced around 32.9K INR which as per today's exchange rate translates to $468.90 for 16GB and  $533.58 for 32 Gb but in USA it's available for $350 and $399 corresponding to 16GB and 32 GB ..

It's success is no undoubtedly due to it's  pricing . But hardware was too kick ass , it was running on Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor , 2gigs of ram , 16/32 Gigs internal memory choice , 8MP rear+ front camera , and a 4.95" 1920*1080 screen with 445 PPI , that's really high end specs that you can get in a 50k INR + phone , somehow Google managed to put this form factor in 350$ phone .

Though Nexus 5 isn't  a bed of   flowers as there a bit of compromises +LG Electronics  had to make to cut the price . So  Lg actually chose a mat finished plastic chassis instead of the premium metal chassis that +HTC , had chosen for the One and the flagship ONE MAX .Also insistent battery life and Camera snap speed where some of the compromises Google and LG had made though Camera snap speed had been fixed with the 4.4.2 update for the Nexus .

Also those  DEVS and the Guys who love stock android experience and wan't them to keep updated with the latest versions got the phone . Also it had the OK Google functionality which wasn't as par as the MotoX but was fair enough to make Google Now hands free specially when you're on the homescreen .Also Google mixed Hangout with the stock messaging as apple did with  and also dialer was now too social and Google+ integrated and also Google Updated the Google Now to the new functionality making it more reliable ..
