Samsung Galaxy s5 psychology round-up

Samsung recently announced it's Samsung Galaxy S5 , and also yesterday or day before yesterday , launched it's flagship in India , but prices aren't revealed yet .. Many bloggers covering the S5 event , were not amused with Galaxy S5 , as the phone received an average rating . Well , Samsung people were confused while making decisions  for Galaxy S5 , weren't they ?



 

Samsung this time introduced , the Finger print sensor , which isn't new feature , as Apple with 5s , HTC with One Max and earlier Motorola with ATRIX 4G , had already introduced this innovative feature.. ( frankly , Apple too termed this feature as innovative , which was not , as Motorola had earlier launched ATRIX 4G) .. Well , Apple had the perfect location for TOUCH ID , HTC's location was a bit weird at the back .. Samsung integrated scanner in the Home Button only , but kept the slide up gesture for unlocking , which was not practical as all , in terms of daily usage and how one hold the phone , outside during day-to-day usage ..

 

Samsung , added the feature of hear rate monitoring , which was good ( frankly not useful in daily life ) , but reports suggests that it wasn't accurate enough , and it may lead a patient to misconception .. I'm not criticising the phone , its some features are really good like New Touch Wiz UI , new navigation button layout , watch on ( even i use Samsung Galaxy Grand as my daily phone ) .. In pictures , Samsung galaxy s5 colours look ugly and Samsung  says its back is LEATHER LIKE ,  and it also has got small dimples on the back which is good .

The best thing Samsung did is price stuff . While , reports suggests about price  , being lower than s4 during launch , it may not be true .. Retailers here in India , are expecting the price of phone to be around 51k INR ( $846.61  ,  £511.16 ) which is quite high but lower than iPhone 5s  and now where lower than s4 as the official price on Samsung India's website is about 40,690 INR ( $675.46 ,  £407.83 )

Before the phone was launched , there were rumours about s5 with 2k display ( like OPPO Find 7 ) , curved display  etc . All were put to rest when s5 , was announced . If this features existed in real , then price would have gone really high , maybe higher than One Max ..
