How to Install Apps from SD Card in Windows Phone 8.x

So Hi everyone, it's been over a month since this website was last updated, I guess it was OCT 28-29. Well the sole reason behind this is "EDUCATION". This being one of the important years of my school, I've to study hard as this grades will decide my future career. Sincere apologies for this. This is a short tutorial on How to Install Apps from SD Card in Windows Phone or you can say How to Sideload apps from SD Card in Windows Phone.

For this tutorial I'm going to use the Nokia Lumia 630 Dual Sim. This feature made its debu with Windows Phone 8 OS which was released last year. This tutorial is solely for Windows Phone having SD Card support, WP devices without SD Card support( like Lumia 930, Lumia 920 etc) cannot be used to side-load apps.

Steps:

1. First of all head over to WindowsPhone.com and search for the app which you want to       sideload. We'll use UC Browser as an example for this tutorial.

2. Then scroll down on the app specific page and search for "Download and Install             Manually". Click on that and it should immediately start downloading the app on your       computer.

3. Move the downloaded .xap file to your Windows Phone's SD Card. You can transfer the       app to any folder in your SD Card you want.

4. Head-over to Store and click on ... and select Install Local Apps.

5. Select the app you want to Install in the list and Click On Install. And it should                 immediately start the installation of the app on your phone

Nokia Z launcher : Hands ON

[caption id="attachment_864" align="aligncenter" width="1920"]Z Launcher Z Launcher[/caption]

Well Nokia, surprisingly launched an launcher for Android, called Nokia Z. But it is worthy to be noted that it is still in beta stage and excruciatingly, it does not support rooted device. You have to follow some RootCloak methods for this. Click here to check out that tutorial. It is not really available on Play Store, instead anyone with an supported device can register, download and indulge it in their daily life.

Wealthy, weird and attractive the name is, there's nothing much to talk about the Z launcher. It is just a matter with a single home screen and an app drawer, even missing some features like widgets, rearrangement of icons and attractive look. But it is completely different in terms of functionality it offers. Still, it cannot be compared with Yahoo Aviate Launcher and some of third party launchers because it is just boring, even if navigation is pretty easy.

The entire launcher is based on "Write and Search" technique. When you a letter suppose A, it brings all contacts, files, songs, videos starting with letter A. Then You type the seconds letter, suppose Z (which makes AZ), it filters even more displaying basically all data on your phone starting with AZ. You can draw a line from right to left to delete a letter from left to right, which broadens the search. The Home screen displays your most used File ( which can be either file, contact, song, app etc) and circular icon for App drawer with main four icon short-cuts for camera, dialer and Browser. The drawer slides up to down, typically like HTC Sense, but there's nothing here to customise. Launcher just displays number of apps in app drawer with a settings icon.

Overall there's nothing extraordinary about Nokia Z. Just Write and Search methodology is fast enough for searching all stuff stored. It maybe amazing for little time, then it's just boring. But still it's in Beta Stage, let's see what happens further!

But there's nothing to be happy about , as the OS is customised to an extreme level , it actually feels like Mixture of Android , Windows Phone and Asha Platform .

What led the Blackberry's transgression ?

Well Apple inc recently confirmed the fact that it wouldn't be in the same situation as Blackberry now is , worst condition of lifetime , of which even Nokia had it's chicken pox , but with the Windows Phone vaccine , it grew quite a bit in the market .  Well , every tech guys knows the decisions Blackberry made where not to the mark of practicals situations as we would suggests  and economical psychology decisions ...

Blackberry  , was and is still known for the business class phones that are mostly used by the business class persons  ,   and they mostly recommend the phone for the OS is very capable of handling the e-mail stuff but far behind in the ethics of  being a perfect all-rounder smartphones for the life .. I bet blackberry's RIM and new BB10 still lack behind in the gaming and all round entertainment stuff , which completes a definition of being a all -rounder smartphone , not just a batsmen  or a bowler etc ..

Well last 2-4 years have been crucial for blackberry as the Canada based Manufacturer suffered huge losses and the graph of sales indirectly went down instead of ups and ups , Android manufacturers were proved crucial for the   Blackberry losing it's fame and overall , all melodrama of the manufacturer sinked below the ground at the point black range ..
