Samsung has listed Samsung Start Trio - the triple sim phone on company's Brazilian site following LG ( in Brazil) . However there 's no news about pricing as well as availability of the device . It is Samsung's first triple sim phone , following LG . It's a pretty low-end device in terms of specs , so performance may not be that smooth as you would expect ..
The device is powered by Android 4.1 , 3.1" QVGA ( 240*320) screen , 1 GHZ single core processor with Half a gig of ram (512 MB) , which are pretty bad specs considering the flagship phones , but price may also be down considering the specs it offers . The device has 1300 mAH battery and comes in black color anyway . Connectivity options are standard ones like BT 4.0 , Wifi , 3G etc .. The device comes with 4GB internal+ Expandability up to 32GB via Micro SD Card ..

Nice post Devanshu, I wasn’t even aware of this phone, Samsung’s releasing a lot of products both in UK/US markets and also international so it’s virtually impossible to keep up. I wonder how this triple SIM style will work though, and is there even a need for such a device? I can see the benefits of dual sim but triple sim seems a bit gimmicky to me.
ReplyDeleteYa Purav .. Triple sim sounds crazy ... But hey in India we get 4 sim duplicate China phones too .. But Samsung has entered , so it's kinda weird entry
ReplyDeleteGreat post Devanshu. Like Purav, I didn't even know about this phone until I read this.
ReplyDeleteThe specs certainly aren't anything to write home about, but I suppose for certain markets, this phone will be appealing.
Ya Michael you're right :)
