Belk iPad mini Smart case: Review

Personally , I like my gadgets to be used without Cases , but when i found this case , i bought for the review .. While the Brand Belk may not be known , it's smart case is awesome , considering the price and the functionality it offers ... While the Apple cases and covers might be expensive , this case may be the cheap and reliable alternative for that one ..

Since this case costs only 500 INR ( 4.80 Pounds ) , it's obvious that it's not made from polyurethane material , the material from which Apple makes it's iPad covers .. On the front side there's the front flap of the smart case , with three rectangle strips , that can be folded to create different positions . The texture on it is rough texture cardboard type , which actually makes this case easy to hold and reduces the chances of slipping from the hand .. On the back it's the same texture  ,no change at all .. Apple smart cover is just comes with the front side with the magnet to put , which provides protection to just screen , not back side ,  but since it's case it also provides protection to the back casing side of the iPad , though you can get Apple Smart Case , it might be expensive ..

The inner surface is coated with soft sponge like    material which reduces the chances of harming the screen and spoiling the back casing of the iPad , which is good .. This  case comes only in white color , it would be good if we had multicolor options like Apple's Case and Covers , but considering it's affordable price we can't complain much. As this case is a smart case , it locks iPad when you close the flap , and unlocks it when flap is lifted off the screen.

20140128_13232420140128_132335The case has some usual cutouts for the lock button , 3.5 mm audio jack , volume buttons , speaker grills , lightning port etc ..The only problem with this case is the magnets never perfectly fits on the screen like Apple's case , the three strips remains a little bit lifted , when flap is closed and opened locking and unlocking times is more , there's no immediate response like Apple's cases , but that's fine , not a big problem ..

Positions :

Because of foldable rectangular strips ( 3 in number) iPad can be arranged in mainly three positions :

1.Typing position

2.Video or photo watching position

As iPad's keyboard is big , typing position makes perfect to type on iPad with two hands .. Also video watching position is perfect for watching pics and videos on iPad ..

Both this positions , ultimately adds ease to our life .. There a holding position , too .. Apple products are known for thinness  , which makes iPad difficult to hold and increases chances of falling from hand .. So just hold strips into a triangle , and there you go , a perfect holding support .
